THE PATTERN OF ORGANIZATION
1. THE
LISTING PATTERN
·
People who are looking for a job can find
information about job vacancies in the mass-media.A company usually places an
advertisemant in newspaper or magazine when they need people to fill vacant
positions.Theseadvertisements give job-seekers all the information they need to
know about job vacancies.
In addition to advertisement,there are some other institutions both
government and non govrnment that do the same thing.These institusion are known
as job centre or employment agency.Their purpose is to make people know about
the vacancies.
Job centre is an official government institution.It provides information
and also accepts registration of applicants who need jobs.Each will be given a
registration card telling everything about the holder.By having this,the holder
has at least two advantages.First,the holder is stated on the list of the
Department of Manpower as a job-seeker.Second,if there is a vacancy through the
department,he or she will be informed and invited to apply for a job.
Really,getting a job is not an easy matter.Applicants should prepare
themselves better by having good skills and abilities,a good educational
background and determination to succeed.

THE TIME ORDER PATTERN
·
I’’l tell you my experience last week.Last
week,I participated in a swimming competition at Pagora swimming pool.It was
held to commemorate the 45th anniversary of my
school.My friends and I went to the swimming pool by public transport.We rented
it for a day.
When we arrived there,the committee told us to sit on the benches beside
the pool.There were some other participants waiting in the pool.They came from
the other school in Kediri.
At the first race,we used butterfly stroke.I finished the race at the
second place and I got a silver medal.After that I got a bronze medal because I
was third place.At last race my classmate won the gold medal.We cheered
happy.After the competition was over,we went home by our rented car.
I was happy and my classmates were too.We could win the competition
well.

COMPARISON PATTERN

The river is so dirty and full of
garbages.People who live in the riverbank do not try to keep the river
clean.They throw the garbages to the river.They also wash yteir clothes in the
river.Whereas the detergent they used contains chemical material that pollute
the river.Near the river,there is a company that throws its industrial waste to
the river.It changes the river completely,the river becomesvery dirtyand has a
bad smell,moreover the industrial waste contains poison that can kill animal in
the river,like fish,and cause a diseashe for the people who consume it.
Other small activities that also polluted the river are washing
motorbike and peoples live stock.The oil from motorbike and cow manure also
pollute the river,children like to play and swim there.Some of them are used to
fishing there,though fish are rare and have been contaminated.The mothers take
the water from the river to cook.So,you can imagine what unhealthy environtment
those people have.

Bamboo and rattan are used to make wicker chairs and other
furniture.Cirebon is famous for its rattan industry.Bamboo and “mendong” are
also used to make baskets,fans mats,etc.Tasikmalaya is famous for this kind of
industry.
Bandung,one of the most modern Indoonesian cities,is popular resort
town.Some people in Cibaduyut,in southern Bandung,make shoes for domestic
markets and for export.Making shoes is a home industry.Puppets made of wood and
cloth are also available in the souvenire shops.In fact there are still ,many
other local handicrafts found in other parts of Indonesia.

·
The air most people breathe is not
completely pure since it contains water vapor,dust,pollen,and germs.Near big
towns are cities,it may also contain poisonous gases such as nitrogen dioxide
and sulphur dioxide,as well as lead compounds and other pollutans.We know that
most of these substances get into the air from oil and petrol.And if the air
does not rise because it is colder than the air above it,the concentration of
these pollutans presents a hazard,especially to people with disorders of the
heart and lungs.
It is true that human body has defence mechanisms against many of
them.But if they fail,inhaling dust and poisonous gases may aggravate or cause
lung disordes,pollen can give rise to allergies such as hay fever-an acute
inflammation of the eyes and upper respiratory tract-and germ can cause
disease.

Land pollution can be caused by waste or rubbish such as
paper,bottles,plasticdisposal,alumunium,scraps,junk,etc.Because of our
carelessness and lazyness,our surrounding are very dirty.They are filled with
household as well as factory waste.Some waste can be broken down by natural
organisms such as bacteria..Rubbish like this is called organic wastes.On the
other hand,rubbish which cannot be broken down by natural organisms is called
inorganic waste.This is more difficult to dispose of and it makes the
surroundinga vers unpleasant to look at.
Noise pollution can be caused by several things:loud music though
loudspeakers,the noise of vehicles such as trucks,buses,motorcycles,and also
aircrafts.Loud noise may cause deafness.It can effects heart and cause nervous
strain.
Radiation pollution can kill many people in one moment.It is caused by
uranium and other radioactive.People fear the testing of anatomic weapons in
general because anatomic weapon are radioactive.These are few examples of the
different kinds of pollution in our lives.
